Beyla and Bjorr are replicas of 5000 year old Neolithic figurines found on Orkney. The originals were very rare examples of the earliest known human figures.

The female figure, known as the Westray wife or the Orkney Venus, was made of sandstone and the scratches on her back are thought to represent clothing.

The male figure, is possibly ungendered. They’re known as the Skara Brae buddo, buddo means friend on Orkney. They were made of whalebone, there are holes and wear marks, perhaps he was originally strung on rope?

Beyla and Bjorr come with a description of them tucked inside.
